One of my favorite movies Amazon Women On the Moon was filmed here... and it's a cracks us up to see..... We left it for the young and wild peeps to climb while we were there although George has climbed them before. The area is built up with beautiful homes and a few old ranches that store many western items for filming. It was at least 100 degrees out at 9:00 in the morning. George called his sister from here to tell her we would be there in a couple of hour and headed to Malibu. She laughed when we told her where we were... If you know us we can be just about anywhere when we call. Nanny Pams you know that scene and our kids too.Well George loved photographing the lizards but it was just too hot to roam far we aren't use to the Inferno there. We have grown to not like it anymore as when Lopez Island gets hot we just buckle and it's miserable with water around us it helps. The photo of me at the bottom is a shadow and I put my arms over my head because someone dropped colorful confetti on the ground and in the sun it just sparkled to make for an arty image. All the fenced animals housed in the area are pure bred and well groomed for their close ups... Well lets just move on down the road.. All you Cali peeps can relate to these rocks....
